In the name of our country, Mr. Mehmet Emre Sarıyıldız and Mr. Hakan Bulut, Rapporteur Judges of CJP participated in the 24th Plenary of CCJE (Consultative Council of European Judges) held in Strasbourg/France on 29 November – 1 December 2023.
The agenda of the meeting in which high-level judge representatives of the member States of the Council of Europe participated was the evaluation of the draft of the Opinion No.26 titled “The Use of Assistive Technology in the Judiciary”.
During the meeting the draft of Opinion No. 26 which was prepared taking into consideration the comments, recommendations and evaluations of the representatives of member countries was analysed and adopted. This Opinion provides a durable set of principles for the future use of technology in judicial systems.
Moreover, ideas were exchanged regarding Opinion No. 27 to be prepared for 2024 by CCJE and “Disciplinary Liability of Judges” was determined as the topic of next Opinion.
