In order to maintain the procedure initiated with the meeting under the name of “the Judicial Councils of the Turkic Speaking Countries” hosted by our Council on 22-23 December 2015 in Istanbul within the scope of “The Organization of Turkic States”, an online meeting was held with the participation of Sadi Jafarov, Deputy Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States; Mr. Hasan Hüseynov, the Project Director; Dr. Müjgan Karyağdı, Deputy Secretary General of Council of Judges and Prosecutors (CJP) and Mr. Mehmet Emre Sarıyıldız and Mr. Hakan Bulut, Rapporteur Judges of the Foreign Relations and Projects Bureau of CJP.

With the Network of Judicial Councils envisaged to be established within the scope of the Organization of Turkic States, it is aimed to discuss the structures, functioning and problems of the judicial councils of the related countries and to create a strong cooperation ground. The meeting where the steps to be taken in future were discussed was finalized after the participants shared their opinions and suggestions and the plan for the next period was made.
