It was decreed by article 159 of Law no. 2709 amended by article 14 of Law no. 6771 on amendments to the Constitution of the Republic of Türkiye adopted through the referendum held on 16 April 2017 and finalized by the Supreme Electoral Council on 27 April 2017 that the ''High'' notion in the High Council of Judges and Prosecutors shall be removed from the text of the article and the new Council of Judges and Prosecutors shall be composed of thirteen members and operate under two chambers.
Due to the relevant constitutional amendment, the matter as to the change of logo of the Council of Judges and Prosecutors was negotiated and the new logo was adopted by the Plenary Session with a decision dated 17/01/2018 and numbered 39 and our new logo was put under protection by the approval dated 23.02.2018 of the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office.
