Born in Çekerek, Yozgat in 1972, he completed the primary and secondary education at Kazankaya Primary School.  After graduating from Gümüşhane Mareşal Çakmak Teacher High School in 1990, he received his bachelor’s degree from Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Law where he had studied between 1990-1994.    

He started his judicial career as a judge candidate in Yozgat. He served as the judge of Şanlıurfa, Beylikova, İskilip, Burhaniye, Gaziosmanpaşa and İstanbul, respectively. In 2018 he was appointed as a member of Bakırköy Justice Commission of First Instance Court for Jurisdiction and then in 2019 appointed as the President of Bakırköy Justice Commission of First Instance Court for Jurisdiction. 

He is currently the Secretary General at the CJP to which position he was elected in July 2023. He is married with two children.
