The 22nd Plenary Meeting of the Consultative Council of European Judges (CCJE), which was held on 3-5 November 2021 via video conference, was attended by Mr. Ali Rıza Ülker and Mr. Mehmet Emre Sarıyıldız, Rapporteur Judges at the Council of Judges and Prosecutors, representing our country.
The agenda of the meeting, attended by high-level judge representatives of the member states of the Council of Europe, was the evaluation of the draft Opinion No. 24 titled “Evolution of the Councils for the Judiciary and Their Role in Independent and Impartial Judicial Systems”.
At the meeting, the draft Opinion No. 24, which was prepared by taking into account the comments, suggestions and evaluations of the representatives of the member states, was examined and accepted. In addition, opinions were exchanged on Opinion No. 25 to be prepared for 2022 by the Consultative Council of European Judges.
