Head of the Second Chamber

He was born in 1968 in Suşehri, Sivas. After completing his education at Suşehri İmam Hatip High School, he graduated from the Faculty of Law at Marmara University in 1994.

He served as a public prosecutor in various districts, including Koyulhisar (Sivas), Dargeçit (Mardin), Pınarhisar (Kırklareli), Karacabey (Bursa), and Fatih (İstanbul), as well as at the Istanbul Courthouse. As of 20 January 2015, he served as Deputy Chief Public Prosecutor at the Istanbul Courthouse.

He also served at the Istanbul Courthouse as a public prosecutor responsible for investigations into terrorism under Law No. 3713 on the Fight Against Terrorism.

On 15 June 2017, he was appointed Secretary General of the Council of Judges and Prosecutors, and on 25 October 2019, High Counsellor to the Ministry of Justice. On 27 November 2020, he was elected a member of the Court of Cassation.

At the 89th Plenary Session of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, held on 20 May 2025, he was elected a member of the Council of Judges and Prosecutors.

He is married and has three children.
