He was born in 1968, in Sivas/Suşehri. After completing the Suşehri İmam Hatip High School, he graduated from the Faculty Law of Marmara Üniversity in 1994.
He served as Public Prosecutor in variosu districts including Sivas/Koyulhisar, Mardin/Dargeçit, Kırklareli/Pınarhisar, Bursa/Karacabey, İstanbul/Fatih and İstanbul Courthouse. As of 20.01.2015, he worked as Deputy Chief Public Prosecutor at İstanbul Courthouse.
He held office at the İstanbul Courthouse as a Public Prosecutor in charge of invsetigating terror under Law No. 3713 on Anti-Terror.
On 15.06.2017 he was appointed as the Secretary General of the Council of Judges and Prosecutors and on 25.10.2019, as the High Counsellor of the Ministery of Justice. On 27.11.2020 he was elected as a Member of the Court of Cassation.
In the 89th Plenary Session of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye held on 20 May 2025 as the Member of the Council of Jedges and Prosecutors.
