Mr. Yıldırım was born in Sivas in 1976. After having completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Sivas, he studied at Ankara University, Faculty of Law, where he received his bachelor’s degree. He did his master’s degree at Marmara University, Institute of Social Sciences. Finally, Mr. Yıldırım completed his doctorate degree at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Public Law. 

He launched his career in 1999 as judge-prosecutor candidate. Mr. Yıldırım served as Kars Public Prosecutor, Kangal Public Prosecutor, Kınık Public Prosecutor, Kayseri Public Prosecutor, Çubuk Public Prosecutor respectively. He was selected as CJP member by President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on 27 May 2021 while he was serving as İstanbul Deputy Chief Public Prosecutor.

Mr. Yıldırım has a good command of English and he is married with three children.
