The meeting was held on BlueJeans virtual event platform as part of the preliminary works of the “Project on Enhancing Freedom of Expression in Türkiye in line with European Standards”. On behalf of CJP, Mr. Yunus Emre Yumuşakbaş, Rapporteur Judge of the Foreign Affairs and Projects Bureau, attended the meeting.

The meeting provided a forum for exchanging views on the overall objective of the Project to make progress in respect to freedom of expression and media freedom by training and awareness raising aimed at media regulatory bodies, law enforcement agencies, judicial bodies and non-governmental organizations, thereby to make consultations with the Project stakeholders and possible partners.
