| He was born in Kabalı Village, Kadışehri District, Yozgat Province, in 1978. After having finished primary school in his village, he completed his secondary and high school education in Istanbul. He graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Law in 2000. He did his Master’s degree in the Department of Public Administration at the Institute of Social Sciences of Kafkas University and he completed his doctorate in Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure Law at Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University. He began his professional career as a Judicial Candidate at the Bakırköy Courthouse. He subsequently served as a Judge in Vezirköprü/Samsun, as a Judge at the 8th Army Corps Military Court, as a Judge in Kağızman/Kars, and as a Judge in Marmaris/Muğla. In June 2014, he was appointed as the President of Batman 2nd Heavy Criminal Court and in July 2016, he was appointed as President of Bolu Heavy Criminal Court and the President of the First Instance Judicial Justice Commission. He was appointed as Secretary General of the Council of Judges and Prosecutors (CJP) in 2019 where he served until 2023. Mr. Han, who was elected as Member of the Court of Cassation on 24 July 2023, served as a Member of 8th Civil Chamber of the Court of Cassation. During his tenure as a Member of the Court of Cassation, he also served as a Member of the Court of Jurisdictional Disputes. He was elected as Member of the Council of Judges and Prosecutors at the 89th Plenary Session of the General Assembly of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, held on 20 May 2025. He is married and has three children. |
