He was born in 1974 in the İhsaniye district of Afyonkarahisar province. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Afyonkarahisar. He graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Law in 1996, which he entered in 1992. He started his career as Judge Candidate in 1997. From 1999, he served as a Judge in Karabük, Konya/Güneysınır, Erzurum/Horasan, Antalya/Kumluca and Kocaeli/Gebze, respectively. Between 2011 and 2016, he served as Inspector at HSYK (High Council of Judges and Prosecutors), where he was appointed as Chief Inspector in 2016. He also served as an expert for Inquiry Commissions at the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye. While he was working as the Chief Inspector of the Council of Judges and Prosecutors (CJP), he was appointed thereto as the Deputy of Secretary General on 25.10.2017.

He is married with two children.
