Study Visits of our Council to Crotia and Hungary

The delegation presided by Mr. Atila Öztürk, the Secretary General of our Council, paid a working visit to Croatia and Hungary in order to exchange information with the equivalent councils of our Council in these countries with whom we have friendly relations based on deep-rooted historical relations and cultural affinity and to investigate judicial practices related to discipline and inspection procedures of judges and prosecutors on site. 

Within the scope of this visit, firstly, the delegation visited Mr. Yavuz Selim Kıran, Türkiye’s Ambassador to Zagreb/Croatia and was informed in detail about the activities of the Embassy of Zagreb in Croatia.  Following that our delegation was informed in detail about the discipline and inspection procedures of judges and prosecutors in Croatia, the field of activity of judicial councils and judicial system of Croatia during the official visit to Mrs. Željka Mostecak, the President of State Attorney’s Council; Silvia Lončar, the Member of this Council and Marina Pulic, Deputy President of the Judges’ Council. Mr. Yavuz Selim Kıran, Türkiye’s Ambassador to Zagreb participated in this visit as well.

Within the framework of this visit, Dr. Elias David, the President of the First Degree Service Court and Dr. Hajnal Eva, the President of the Regional Court of Kaposvár made presentations on the discipline and inspection procedures of judges and prosecutors in Hungary and Hungarian judicial system. A fruitful meeting was held through exchange of opinions and information.
