The Meeting among the Judicial Councils of the Turkic Speaking Countries, which is planned to be made into a network of the councils for the judiciary in the long run, took place on 22 and 23 December 2015 in Istanbul.

The participants of the meeting included the Deputy President and Heads of the Chambers of the High Council of Judges and Prosecutors of Türkiye, as well as the Presidents, Chief Public Prosecutors and Deputy Presidents of the Judicial Councils of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.

In the meeting that lasted two days, there were exchanges of information on the structure, functioning and problems of the judicial councils of the mentioned countries. It was agreed that the meeting shall be held annually and the coordination shall be made by the High Council of Judges and Prosecutors of Türkiye.
