The Plenary Meeting of European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice (CEPEJ), which was established in 2002 within the Council of Europe, envisaging a regular process of analysis of the justice systems of member states, held its plenary meeting on 8 December 2020 via video conferencing as part of the Covid 19 pandemic related measures. On behalf of CJP, Rapporteur Judges Mr. Zeki Uysal and Mr. Onur Ustali attended the meeting.

Attendees were informed about the ongoing and completed works by each of the Working Groups of the Evaluation of Judicial Systems (CEPEJ-GT-EVAL), Quality of Justice (CEPEJ-GT-QUAL) and Cyberjustice (CEPEJ-GT-CYBERJUST) separately.

In the meeting, as part of its agenda, also the information was shared about the works conducted within the Council of Europe relating to the “CEPEJ Evaluation Report on European judicial systems - 2020 Evaluation cycle” based on 2018 data and declared previously.
