Rapporteur Judges of the Foreign Affairs and Projects Bureau Mr. Hüseyin Cem Eren and Mr. Halil Akkız attended on behalf of Council of Judges and Prosecutors to the Regional Preparatory Meeting for the Launch of a Global Judicial Integrity held by United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) on 24-25 August 2017 in Vienna.

On the first day of the meeting, in the session about the regional developments in judicial integrity, our Rapporteur Judges gave information about “The Project on Strengthening Judicial Ethics in Türkiye”

On the second day, at the end of the work realised in three separate groups, our Rapporteur Judges took on the task of spokesman in the name of the first group and in the plenary session they reported the recommendations that were discussed and agreed upon. The meeting was concluded following the question and answer session and the session during which the concrete recommendations about the formation and development of the Network and further steps to be taken were discussed.
