The Committee of the members of the Council of Judges of the Russian Federation, chaired by Mr. Alexander Parshin, Deputy Director General of the Judicial department at the Supreme Court of Russian Federation, made a study visit to the High Council Of Judges and Prosecutors of Türkiye on 6 October 2015, as guests of our Council. 

Mr. Metin YANDIRMAZ, the President of the HCJP; Mr. Bilgin BAŞARAN, the Secretary General of the HCJP; and Ms. Müjgan KARYAĞDI, the Deputy Secretary General of the HCJP, welcomed the Russian committee at the Plenary Session Meeting Room. 

Within the scope of the visit of the committee, a presentation was made on the structure and functioning of the HCJP as well as its position in the Turkish judicial system; and there was an exchange of information on the Russian and Turkish judicial systems. 

The first meeting on the planned bilateral collaboration between the Council of Judges of the Russian Federation and the HCJP took place; and both parties agreed on the drafting of a protocol including all the details. 

Following the expressions of mutual wishes towards the strengthening of relations, presentation of gifts and the lunch, the guest committee was hosted in Istanbul, and the visit was concluded.
