A delegation, which in Türkiye with the purpose of with certain institutions and organizations in order for the founding of the basis of the Report to be prepared on Türkiye within the scope of the “Post-Monitoring Dialogue Procedure” which was adopted in the Plenary Meeting (Spring) of 2013 of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), composed of Ms. Nataša Vuckovic, Rapporteur at the Monitoring Committee of the PACE and Serbian Parliament Member, Ms. Ingebjørg Amanda Godskesen, Rapporteur at the Monitoring Committee of the PACE and Norwegian Parliament Member, and Ms. Sylvie Affholder, Secretary at the Monitoring Committee of the PACE, on May 12, 2016.

The delegation was greeted at the Plenary Session Hall by Mr. Mehmet Yılmaz, the Deputy President of the HCJP, Mr. Halil Koç, the President of the First Chamber of the HCJP, and Mrs. Müjgan Karyağdı, the Deputy Secretary General of the HCJP.

Within the framework of the visit, negotiations were made regarding the most recent report and declaration by the GRECO and the Venice Commission and the responses given to these by the HCJP, appointment and disciplinary procedures of the judges and prosecutors of Türkiye, and the projects carried out by the HCJP.

The visit of the Committee was concluded following the presentation of gifts.
