Conference on Courts and Communication VII. hosted by the Hungarian National Office for the Judiciary (NOJ) by specifically focusing on different topics each year in order to create an international communication forum was held in Budapest, the capital of Hungary on 10-11 October 2019.

Rapporteur Judges of the Foreign Relations and Project Bureau Mr. Zeki Uysal and Mr. Yunus Emre Yumuşakbaş attended the Conference in the name of the Council of Judges and Prosecutors upon the official invitation letter sent by the President of the NOJ, Mrs. Tünde Hando.

The main topics of this year’s Conference held with the participation of more than 80 people from approximately 20 countries were defined as “Internal Communication”, “Court’s Mission to Promote Values” and “Communication of High Profile Cases”.

On the first day of the Conference started with opening speech of the President of the NOJ, then international experts on the main topics of the Conference made presentations.

On the second day, the participants were divided into three groups and three different “Workshops” were held alternately concerning all main topics under the guidance of moderators having an international expertise.

After workshops, the Conference was concluded following the presentations made by the moderators on the working conclusions.
