Mr Haffide BOULAKRAS, Deputy Director of the French National School for the Judiciary (ENM) and his accompanying delegation paid a working visit to our Council on 6 March 2024.

The guest delegation was received at our Council by the Deputies of Secretary General, Dr. Müjgan KARYAĞDI and Mr Ramazan AKIN; Rapporteur Judges, Mr. Said TOPTAŞ, Mr Hakan BULUT and Mr Mehmet Emre SARIYILDIZ under the chairmanship of Mr Sinan EKİCİ, Deputy of Secretary General. During the meeting, the guest delegation was accompanied by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hasan Kadir YILMAZTEKİN, Head of Department, and Ms Özden DÜLGER, Rapporteur Judge representing the Justice Academy of Türkiye.

During the meeting, the guest delegation was informed in detail regarding the duties of the bureaus of the in-service training and the admission to the profession structure, as well as the duties and functioning of our Council and the judicial system in Türkiye and provided with the English copies of the Information Booklet on the Structure and Functioning of CJP, the Declaration of Ethics for Turkish Judiciary and the Guidelines on the Use of Social Media within the scope of the Declaration of Ethics for Turkish Judiciary. The guest delegation gave a briefing on the French judicial system and the activities of the French National School for Judiciary.

The meeting ended with the exchange of gifts following the mutual expressions of wishes for further development of close relations and co-operation particularly in the field of judiciary between the two countries.
