The discussions were conducted in an atmosphere of mutual trust and constructive cooperation. They focused on the evaluation of ongoing efforts to combat corruption, judicial ethics, and transparency in the judiciary. In this context, it was emphasised that our Council attaches particular importance to reform initiatives aimed at preventing corruption, especially the implementation of GRECO recommendations. The policies pursued in line with the principles of accountability and the rule of law were also underlined.
We consider that the continuation of constructive engagement with GRECO will contribute to our country’s alignment with its international obligations in the field of justice and will further support efforts to enhance institutional capacity, judicial independence, and ethical standards.
