A high-level judicial delegation from Kosovo, who were in Türkiye as part of the ‘International Training Programme on Justice Administration and Specialised Courts’ organised by the Justice Academy of Türkiye for members of the Kosovo judiciary between 2 and 6 February 2026, paid a visit to the Council of Judges and Prosecutors (CJP) on 4 February 2026. The visiting delegation led by Mr Fejzullah REXHEPI, President of the Supreme Court of Kosovo, was composed of Mr Albert ZOGAJ, President of the Judicial Council of Kosovo, Mr Enver FEJZULLAHU, Director of the Justice Academy of Kosovo, and Mr Shkelzen MALIQI, Secretary General of the Judicial Council of Kosovo. 

The visiting delegation, accompanied by Mr Bekir ALTUN, President of the Justice Academy of Türkiye, Mr Hasan Kadir YILMAZTEKİN, Head of the Department of Foreign Relations and Information, and representatives of the Justice Academy of Türkiye, was welcomed by our Council delegation composed of Mr Fuzuli AYDOĞDU, Acting President of the CJP and Head of the Second Chamber, Mr Atila ÖZTÜRK, Secretary General, Dr Müjgan KARYAĞDI, Deputy Secretary General and several rapporteur judges.

During the visit, the visiting delegation was provided with detailed information on the structure and functioning of the CJP, its inspection system, and the implementation of judicial ethics, as well as its international institutional cooperation activities. Moreover, views and experiences on respective judicial systems were exchanged. On the same day, Mr Yunus Emre YUMUŞAKBAŞ, rapporteur judge at the CJP, gave a lecture on “Turkish Judicial Ethics” to Kosovan judges at the Justice Academy of Türkiye.

Following the expression of mutual goodwill wishes towards strengthening and developing judicial cooperation between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Türkiye, the visit concluded.
