The representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) visited the High Council of Judges and Prosecutors on 21.11.2016.

The members of the delegation; Mr. Mogens Jensen the President of the Committee on Political Affairs and Democracy, Ms. Deborah Bergamini on behalf of the Group of the Europen People’s Party, Ms. Josette Durrieu the Former Rapporteur of the Socialist Group on Türkiye, Ms. Kelly Tolhurst on behalf of the European Conservatives Group, Ms. Anne Brasseur the PACE President of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe, Mr. George Loucaides on behalf of the Unified European Left Group, Ms. Despina Chatzivassiliou the Head of the Commission Secretariat, Mr. Joao Ary the Deputy Head of the Commission Secretariat were greeted at the Plenary Session Hall by the Acting President of the HCJP Mr. Mehmet Yılmaz and the Deputy Secretary General of the HCJP Mrs. Müjgan Karyağdı.

In the meeting, the delegation was informed about the recently occurred problems in Türkiye and ideas were exchanged.
