Within the scope of the “International Training Program on Combating Terrorism Crimes” organized in Ankara between 15–19 December 2025 through the cooperation of the Justice Academy of Türkiye and the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), a 19-member delegation composed of judges and prosecutors serving in various regions of Somalia and Sudan, led by senior judges of the supreme courts of these countries, who were present in Türkiye for the said program, paid a visit to our Council on 18 December 2025.

The delegation, accompanied by Mr. Alper Karaaslan, Head of the Administrative Services Department of the Justice Academy of Türkiye, and other representatives of the Justice Academy of Türkiye, was received by Mr. Atila Öztürk, Secretary General of the Council of Judges and Prosecutors, and Dr. Müjgan Karyağdı, Deputy Secretary General.

Within the framework of the visit, a presentation was delivered to the visiting delegation on the structure and functioning of our Council, the duties and competences of its chambers, and its institutional cooperation activities at the international level. In addition, mutual exchanges of information were held regarding practices within the judicial systems of the guest countries.

The visit concluded with the expression of satisfaction, appreciation, and goodwill wishes aimed at strengthening and further developing judicial cooperation between Somalia, Sudan, and Türkiye, followed by the taking of a group photograph.
