Our Council paid a working visit to the Constitutional Court of Russian Federation which is located in St. Petersburg on 4^th of October in order to have an exchange of information and to improve cooperation.

Mr. Mehmet Yılmaz, Acting President and President of 2^nd Chamber; Mr. Mehmet Ademoğlu, Member of 2^nd Chamber; Mr. Prof. Dr. Ali Cengiz Köseoğlu, Member of 2^nd Chamber; Mr. Sinan Ekici, Deputy Secretary General; Mr. Reşat Sağlık, Deputy Secretary General; Mr. Murat Pala, Deputy Secretary General; Rapporteur Judge Mr. Ali Rıza Ülker and Rapporteur Judge Mr. Veli Ünal participated in the visit.

During the visit, our delegation was informed about the place of Constitutional Court of Russian Federation in Russian judicial system and its functioning; information about the structure and duties of our Council and its place in Turkish judicial system were presented; establishment of prospective Asian Judicial Network aiming at improving cooperation was negotiated. The visit was finalised with wishes of strengthening bilateral relations and ceremony of gift presentation.

After the Constitutional Court visit, a courtesy visit was paid to St. Petersburg Consulate General and our delegation returned to Türkiye.
